The Islander is a 42-foot Bertram, powered by twin diesels. Clean and comfortable, this air-conditioned charter boat meets all Coast Guard safety requirements. With a maximum six-passenger limit (per Coast Guard regulations), the Islander is operated by a licensed captain to ensure a safe and reliable charter fishing experience for you and your guests.

Captain Wayne Is Booking Now for the Spring of 2010

We will be providing very early striper trips for the Old Saybrook area, with the Connecticut River our next trip to catch all the bass that are making their way to the local reefs.

We will be fishing Plum Gut, the Rale, Gardners Island, the Connecticut River, Westbrook and Clinton following the schools of big bass.

We will be targeting the big fish with our highly sophisticated, state-of-the-art electronics.

Inshore Target: Big Bass, Blues, Blacks, Fluke, Porgies, Flounder & Weakfish

Offshore Target: Sharks, Tuna, Marlin & Wahoo
